ArtWife

Artwife is a feminist and gender-oriented art festival taking place in a cultural centre Diera do sveta, Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia. Festival's aim is to intervene, criticise and question gender stereotypes from a feminist perspective as well as to present contemporary artists whose practice is dedicated to these issues.

On top of that, the purpose of the festival is to informally educate, cultivate and sensitise the audience in issues and topics which are perceived radical or controversial and thus to contribute to normalising the feminist and gender discourse at Slovakia.
